The Alpha course meets one evening a week for 10 weeks and a weekend. A relaxed dinner followed by an entertaining DVD and then there is time in small groups of participants to discuss any issues or questions they might have, giving them opportunity to get to know each other and learn together.
The videos look at such topics as:
- Who is Jesus?
- Why did Jesus die?
- How can I be sure of my faith?
- Why and how should I read the Bible?
- Why and how should I pray?
- How does God guide us?
- How Can I Resist Evil?
- Why and How Should We Tell Others?
- Does God Heal Today?
- What About the Church?
The next course will be held on Thursdays for 11 weeks from April 22nd 2010. There is also an introductory dinner on 22 April at 7pm. Come along to get a "taste of Alpha"...
