Alpha@St Stephen's
The Alpha dinner is a great opportunity to get a "taste" of Alpha and a great way to help you to decide if you would like to continue with the course.
The Alpha course meets for one evening a week from 7-9.30pm for 10 weeks, as well as one weekend during that time. Each evening runs from 7-9.30pm sharp and includes dinner, a dvd presentation, supper and discussion time.
The coures looks at topics such as:
- Who is Jesus?
- Why did Jesus die?
- How can I be sure of my faith?
- Why and how should I read the Bible?
- Why and how should I pray?
- How does God guide us?
- How can I resist evil?
- Why and How should I tell Others?
- Does God heal today?
- What About the Church?
Holy Spirit Weekend
- Who is the Holy Spirit?
- What does the Holy Spirt do?
- How can I be transformed by the Holy Spirit?
- How can I make the most of the rest of my life?
